06/05/2014 Update
A meeting was held at the Vienna Town Hall on 06/02/2014 where approx. 50 people attended and voiced their opposition to an Interchange at either location. The Town of Windsor has had one meeting where dozens of their residents voiced opposition. The subject will be on the Town of Windsor's agenda on June 19th. A meeting is being held at DOT on Monday, June 9th. An update will be posted here after the DOT meeting.

A monthly progress report meeting was held at DOT on Monday, June 9th. At the meeting there was discussion about the Windsor and Vienna town meetings and the opposition at each meeting. DOT officials indicated that an interchange at either location would have little to no impact on the traffic at the current County V/Interstate intersection. It would have some impact on the traffic at the Hwy 19/Interstate intersection, but not enough to eliminate other safety improvements that are needed at Hwy 19.
The Town of Windsor has indicated that the topic will be on the agenda at their June 19th meeting. The Town of Vienna will likely have it on the agenda for the July 7th Town Board Meeting. Further updates will be posted as they become available.

We have received information from the Village of DeForest that they will no longer be pursuing an Interchange at either Cuba Valley or Windsor/River Roads. The Town Board will still be doing a resolution in opposition at the July 7 Town Board Meeting to formalize the Town's position.
